Mike Matei Game Review

It's safe to assume quite a number of you are familiar with and if not then you're probably familiar with the series which seemed to skyrocket the sites popularity; James Rolfe's ‘Angry Videogame Nerd'. James Rolfe himself appeared as the Nerd in various gaming and internet conventions. Soon, Rolfe released a review of The Karate Kid game which was the first episode where Rolfe's character is introduced as The Angry Nintendo Nerd”. 6. I never really liked Megaman 7 and those earlier MMX games (never played the later ones).

WatchMojo listed the Nerd as #10 in its Top 10 YouTube Celebrities, describing him as that "one guy playing video games in his parents' basement who made it a career". The AVGN reviews Toxic Crusaders (GB), Toxic Crusaders (Genesis), Toxic Crusaders (NES). The gameplay is nothing like a real Zelda game.

I prefer NC's videos more, but I still have to give Mike Matei props for at least taking the time to make videos. The AVGN reviews Top Gun for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Development of the film began in late 2006, following the popularity of the Angry Video Game Nerd web series, with the completion of the screenplay by 2008.

Rolfe's channel, JamesNintendoNerd, is currently the 171st most popular YouTube channel with over 928,000 subscribers and 421.9 million views, according to VidStatsX. In 2007, the series became a program on ScrewAttack and GameTrailers , where it was renamed The Angry Video Game Nerd to avoid trademark issues with Nintendo , and to allow Rolfe to review games from non-Nintendo consoles.

Rolfe's character, "the Nerd", is a short-tempered and foul-mouthed video game fanatic who satirically reviews old video games in the form reminiscent of insult comedies such as Mystery Science Theater 3000. Fans of the Angry Video Game Nerd will happily purchase this mixed bag of nerd-stalgia and they won't be disappointed.

CONTENT: If you're looking at this set, you know who the Angry VideoGame Nerd is. This is the same content online, just packed onto a Blu-Ray set and loaded with extras. Anyway, Mike is and always has been the glue that held Cinemassacre together, and personally, I love his videos and his characters.

The video quality is about what you'd expect Mike Matei from YouTube, however, this set is far better simply for the fact that you don't have to deal with YouTube's cumbersome interface, ads, and the random pixilation that sometimes occurs during YouTube videos.

If Nintendo decided to make Zelda Kart”, where the whole game was just Zelda characters racing around, I think it would expletive me off. I've been playing Megaman games religiously since 2 came out when I was 6 years old, so when Capcom announced they were releasing 9 in old 8 bit fashion I lost my shit.

In ThatGuyWithTheGlasses's first anniversary special, the Critic and the Nerd begin to settle their score once and for all, eventually joined by other contributors to the website, in which gamers sided with the Nerd and reviewers sided with the Critic.

I like how in each 32 bit one, there is at least one enemy boss who is smaller than you while there would be another one where you would be as tall as where their knee is. I would only like it if they went 32 bit if it is more like Mega Man X4 than X5 and X6 where they began to screw with the classic gameplay mechanics and screw up how they name the Mega Man X robot masters.
